    The Story of Our Founder

    Our founder, Sumeet Dabas, took the first steps to building his hospitality empire with a restaurant that soon became one of Delhi’s most popular, pocket-friendly, yet luxurious barbecue dining experiences. This was the beginning of the Themis legacy, and it all began with Themis Barbecue House. Sumeet is regarded as one of the youngest and the brightest restaurateurs in India. At a young age, he realised the requirements in the dining industry, and brought a fine-dining and luxurious atmosphere to fruition. He executed his vision immaculately through Themis Barbecue House- Pitampura, NSP. Over time, Themis Barbecue House expanded to encompass new locations in Karnal (2021), and Ambala (2023). Each branch upholds the same standards and immersive experience that catapulted Themis Barbecue House to fame in Delhi. While Themis Barbecue House Karnal is temporarily closed, it will soon be reopening, but in the interim, guests can explore the Ambala branches.

    For those in search of a delectable yet reasonably priced barbecue feast, Themis Barbecue House is a must-visit. In a parallel endeavor, Sumeet is now set to introduce a new Themis Barbecue House outlet in Ambience Mall, Gurugram, in 2024, with several other locations in the pipeline.

    With the resounding success of this restaurant, Sumeet decided that it was time to expand his wings in the industry. His objective was to bring people closer to their roots. His objective took the form of an ethnic resort, Themis Mudhouse - An Ethnic Resort & Cultural Dining, which he established in 2018. With a rustic theme representing the lifestyle of rural regions in India, the resort has drawn the attention of travellers who seek an authentic experience. Sumit’s next vision brought Themis Mudhouse - A Nature’s Retreat Resort & Wellness to life, where a modern stay with contemporary facilities, wellness treatments and adventure activities are offered.

    In 2023, the Themis group's dream project, Themis Greek House, came to life. Spanning 30,000 square feet, this property is envisioned as a culinary haven along the highway, offering a diverse range of world cuisines within a captivating bespoke interior that transports visitors to romantic Greco-Latin getaways. The photogenic property exudes the allure of a foreign destination.
    Adding to their impressive portfolio, Hermis by Themis, a club within the Lemon Tree Hotel in Gurugram, is set to launch in 2024.
